Wonderful Resort

The wonderful Resort is another place you can consider staying at when you visit Koh Lanta. It has affordable prices and is just a 2-minute walk to gorgeous Long Beach. And the spectacular sunsets are to die for.

The bungalows are clean and modern. They have comfy beds, tea and coffee-making facilities, a room safe, and an en-suite toilet and shower. Have a look at the quick video I did.

During the low season, a fan room is just 350 baht a night, an air-con room is 550 per night and a family room with an extra bed is 800 baht a night. The owner who is a friend of mine said he would always give a 10% discount to my friends who book directly with him. So say the magic words, “Psycho Syd,” and abracadabra you will pay less. every little helps.

As my pal who owns this lovely resort is Italian, there’s an Italian Restaurant attached. – Dolce Vita. It is reasonably priced and sells Thai and Italian dishes as well as some Western favourites. The chef can veganise most dishes. And I have heard through the grapevine that Dolce Vita will very shortly be offering real Italian pizzas too. I have convinced him to provide a vegan pizza.

I will try this restaurant shortly and write a separate article under the places to eat category. He also has a large-screen TV and can show major sports events. No doubt I’ll probably visit when my team Manchester City are playing.
