Loro Loco Pizza Restaurant

If you are craving a pizza then Loro Loco is a good place to grab one. Luckily for plant-based me, they do vegan pizza too and they are delicious. The owner is super friendly and is willing to add extra stuff such as aubergines,  mushrooms, etc. Very filling indeed.

The restaurant is low-key in the Long Beach area. It probably seats about 30 people and during the high season, it was full most evenings. Many ex-pats eat here too. They also have a takeaway service. When my friends visit me, of course, I take them for Thai meals but they are always happy when they have a surprise visit to Loro Loco for pizza. often than not we have a pizza.

The service is great and there is a chilled ambiance about this place. The image is of the vegan pizza I had on my last visit. I finished half and took the other half back home for supper. My rescue dog Elfie wolfed down a slice too.

For my vegan friends, here is a review from the vegan guide to Koh Lanta by the Sunrise Dreamers;

We did eat here a few times during our time in Koh Lanta, we really missed pizza some days and were so thankful to find a place that offered vegan pizza! It’s a cheese-less pizza but the garlic oil really makes up for the taste.

The guy here is super friendly and can customize any pizza you want, just tell him no cheese! There are a few seats in the restaurant or you can take it away. They used to serve hummus, gyros and burgers but during the drop in tourism over 2020-2022 it’s only one guy running the restaurant to make his amazing pizzas!
